Front Entrance

 

Washington Theological Union is located in the heart of the Takoma Park. The WTU building is four blocks from the Washington DC subway system and a short ride to downtown Washington DC. WTU also has a parking lot on the premises for those students with cars.

 

 

 

 

WTU Chapel

Washington Theological Union is a Roman Catholic Graduate school. The Connelly Chapel of Holy Wisdom is part of the WTU campus and is a beautiful and peaceful place for students to reflect and attend Mass and prayer services with their peers.

 

 

 

WTU Chapel

The Connelly Chapel of Holy Wisdome at WTU has one several architectural awards for its pristine design and excellent use of space. The room is filled with natural light year round and offers a quiet place for students and faculty to pray and reflect.

 

 

 

 

WTU Library

The O'Toole Library has an extensive collection of periodicals and publications. The WTU Library also collaborates with several other university libraries in the so all WTU students have access to their collections as well. The DeGheri Reading Room offers a naturally lit and welcoming space for students to study and conduct research.

 

 

 

Patio Area for Students

 

 

Students at WTU also may relax on the 3rd Floor patio area overlooking main street in Takoma Park. Students can access the patio from the 3rd Floor Lounge area and escape for a few minutes to take a break from their studies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

WTU Dining Hall

 

WTU has a full service dining hall located on the first floor that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner during the week. Students, faculty and staff are all welcome to use the dining hall for meals and community wide events are also held in the Dining Hall.

 

 

 

 

Residence Kitchen

The WTU Residence on the 4th Floor has a lounge area and a full kitchen for residents to use. Residents can store food in the kitchen and entertain guests and can prepare their own meals on weekends of if they choose not to eat in the Union dining hall.

 

 

 

Oratory

 

The 4th Floor Residence also has an Oratory that residents can use for prayer and quiet reflection.
