Distance Education/Blackboard Site

Blackboard 9.1Blackboard allows students and professors to engage in online discussions about course material and also provides access to all course information and assignments, which included syllabi and booklists.

We are currently using Blackboard 9.1. Blackboard has fixed all the glitches that they were having with release 9.0, so you are free to use either Explorer or Modzilla Firefox, of course Safari still works fine. Also with 9.1 we were able to deploy our mobile site. For more information on the mobile site please click Blackboard Mobilethe Blackboard Mobile icon and it will take you to a demonstration. The Android, Blackberry, iPhone and iPad are currently supported.

If you are new to electronic coursework and would like to view a typical Blackboard electronic classroom follow the link below. Once you see the log on page use the Username and Password listed below the link. (Note: Password is case sensitive)

Once you have logged into the Blackboard site, click the course "Distance Learning Trial" which is located in the upper right corner, in a box titled, "My Courses". Once you've entered the site on the left-hand side there is an "Information" tab that contains a video, "Blackboard Technology Demonstration.zip," which will give you a demonstration on how to use this program.
